For bundles and tape-ins— we recommend for your hair to be at least 5-6 inches (this is around neck length) in order for the extensions to blend naturally. If your hair is any shorter, you may experience some trouble with hiding the wefts in your hair. 

However, for wigs, closure, and frontal sets it can be any length since your entire hair will be hidden.

The major difference between lace frontals and lace closures are the size. Closures are typically 4 x 4 inches. While frontals are typically 13 x 4 inches. Lace frontals are bigger mainly because they are designed to cover the entire hairline.

Lace closures are smaller because their primary purpose is to close off an installation hence the name closure. Closures typically only cover a horseshoe size portion at the top or front of an installation.

The main benefit of choosing a lace frontal is its unmatched styling versatility. Wearing a lace frontal can allow you to achieve a styling option that a closure doesn't; frontals allow you to wear pulled-back hairstyles. Closures only cover a small portion of the front of the installation making it impossible to pull back the sides without exposing tracks. A lace frontal covers the entire hairline and will allow you to achieve a seamless style that you can pull back off of your face.

Advantages: Both closures and frontals can be sewn in or constructed into a wig. They can then be sewn down around the edges or worn as a removable wig with a band and laid down with some hair gel for added versatality.

Ultimately, a wig with a frontal will provide its wearer with the most styling versatility, but closures remain the most appropriate option for simple everyday looks (like ones with a middle part) and/or for those who wish to maintain an exact style.

Besides, another difference between the two is that lace closures are sewn into place while lace frontals are generally meant to be bonded in place. While both can be placed either in front or behind the hairline, lace frontals are commonly placed in front of the hairline usually because they are bonded.

We advise giving your natural hair a fresh wash & paying attention to the curls or texture once it is dry to find a pattern that looks most similar.

Quick and easy to apply, lightweight and invisible as they lay flat on the head. Biggest advantage of tape-ins is that they are reuseable and suitable for very thin to thick hair and give a natural, seamless look blended with majority of your natural hair. No natural hair is tucked or braided.

Bundles
Most of our bundles are a natural black color. If you are looking to add length, volume, and style to your hair with very minimal leavout— bundles are a great option as you can cut it, dye it, and style it and not have to style majority of your natural hair. There are many installation methods to install bundles as well. Some choose to cut the bundle into manageable pieces while others prefer sewing the bundle into a braided base, by folding it back and forth.

Bundles can also be converted to clip-ins or wigs over time.

Frontal Set
This method is very durable + breathable— helps cover baldness due to aging or other health conditions and is considered a protective style as leave-out is very minimal.

If tape-ins are not applied or cared for properly, this can cause breakage or damage to the natural hair. Ensure your hair is healthy enough to hold or bond with the adhesive and first-time wearers should do a full inspection after the first removal to check for any damage.

Furthermore, the biggest mistake people often make is incorrectly applying or removing tape-in hair extensions on their own at home. Please seek a professional hairstylist for maintenance and removal.

Our frontal & closure sets are considered the most low-maintenance as intended leave out is very minimal.

Yes— but always use a heat protection spray, oil, or hair serum to protect the hair from heat damage.

Please do not remove your extensions at home by yourself, it is always best to go to a professional to remove them to protect your natural hair from breakage and damage.

Yes! You can swim with our extensions, wash the hair afterwards and moisturize with a deep conditioner. Chlorine from swimming pools, salt from ocean water, and dirt in all bodies of water can be damaging to your hair extensions, if not rinsed out immediately after the activity.

When playing sports and working out, we advise our customers to avoid heavy rountines where sweat can become excessive while wearing our frontals, closures and wigs. Excessive sweating can cause installations to lift and dry out the extensions since sweat is salty and acidic.

To increase the lifespan of your extensions, try to minimize their exposure to sweat and very hot outdoor temperatures.
